The BSW-Solar is the German Solar Industry Association.

With over 600 members, it represents the interests of the entire solar industry. The BSW-Solar was formed from the merger of the old German Solar Industry Association (BSi) and the Association of the Solar Industry (UVS) in 2006.

In 2009, the 4th European Solar Thermal Energy Conference (estec2009) will once again take place in Munich, in cooperation with Intersolar.

Since its foundation in 2000, Intersolar has established itself as the world´s largest solar technology trade fair and the annual meeting place for everyone in the international solar Industry. Next year, the organizers of Intersolar are expecting up to 1,300 exhibiting companies from all sectors of the solar industry and over 60,000 visitors, following what was already a significant increase in the number of exhibitors this year.

Intersolar focuses on the areas of photovoltaics, solar thermal technology and solar architecture. Since its foundation in 2000, it has established itself as the leading international trade show in the sector, for manufacturers, suppliers, wholesalers and service providers alike.
